SaReGaMaPa Challenge-Sangeetha Samara [ Saturday & Sunday - 9:00 pm ]

Zee Kannada has announced the start of a new season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, SA RE GA MA PA Challenge – SANGEETHA SAMARA on Saturday and Sunday at 9.00 pm. Brand SRGMP of Zee Kannada in its 7th season is a talent hunt for budding playback singers in the age group of 16 – 26 yrs.

“SaReGaMaPa Challenge-Sangeetha Samara”, will have 28 contestants chosen from the initial rounds of auditions conducted across Karnataka. These young aspirants will be divided into groups of 6 and will be mentored by four prominent, talented, popular singers of Karnataka – Rajesh Krishnan, Hemanth, Nanditha and Archana Udupa. Each of the mentors form a Gharaana along with their disciples.

All 28 contestants will be taken through dedicated workshops on singing, grooming, presentation, song selections etc by their respective mentors and will be made to perform every week for different themes. Each performance is judged by the other three mentors excluding the group mentor. Eliminations are based on total points garnered by each participant. This procedure of judgement makes the show that much more interesting as the contest is not just between the participants but also amongst their mentors, who will do all they can to get their Gharaana’s singer to the No.1 position.

When the contestants reach Top 16 stage, Veteran Musician Hamsalekha will join the show as the Mahaguru to take them to the next level of competition. And ensure that the quality of singers and singing entering the future of Kannada films is not compromised on.

This season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa promises freshness and innovations. Not just the concept and execution but even the anchor. Harshika Poonaccha a budding actress herself is the fresh face of SRGMP.
