Kuniyonu Baara

The No.1 dance talent hunt of Karnataka will now have the ultimate clash of the sexes: Boys V/S Girls. It cannot get more exciting than this. Boys and girls compete with each other to prove each ones supremacy in dancing. The Bindas boys team will be led by Akul Balaji, budding hero in Sandalwood and the Bombat girls team will be led by the popular anchor Anushree.

Kuniyonu Baara-Boys v/s Girls is a 30 episodes series spread over 15 weeks. The show is an out and out competition to know who is a better dancer – the Boys or the Girls? Children in the age group of 6-12 yrs were auditioned across Karnataka. 30 were shortlisted from which 7 boys and 7 girls are selected for the studio rounds.

The structure of this show is very different from the usual talent hunts. Boys and Girls are divided into 2 teams – Bindaas Boys and Bombat Girls and they are led by a Super King and a Super Queen respectively. Every episode will see a solo, a duet and a group performance. The teams get to bid, bet and challenge. The points they get out of these are accumulated to their final scores. Judges decide who have not performed upto the mark and send them to a “banish zone”. It is upto the Super Queen and Super King to save their team members from the banish zone by performing and earning back the lost points. Finally the TEAM with maximum points wins the series.

Young and vivacious Praveen of Jolly Days fame and Rashree who is a known face in the small screen are the anchors for the show.
